Lest you think that the tea cabinet is completely snobby and just full of loose leaf teas, you would be very wrong. We also have a fine collection of tea bags to choose from when we make tea. I like to think of them as comfort teas, the ones you turn to when you are in a huge hurry or just want something very easy.
I often work outside of the home at a coffee shop while my daughter is in school. This coffee shop with the mermaid logo serves Tazo Tea and it is how I discovered it. I am normally a venti Zen tea with no sweetener kind of gal. It is a nice green tea flavored with lemongrass, spearmint and lemon essence. It is definitely my favorite in the Tazo line.
Yesterday I had a chance to try Tazo China Green Tips. It is Mao Feng green tea that has a very refreshing taste. They have a wide variety of black, green, white, rooibos and herbal teas to choose from. They also have loose leaf teas too, which I have yet to try. Available only during the holiday season is Tazo Joy, a blend of Darjeeling, Oolong, Nuwara Eliya, and Yunnan teas. Try it now or miss out till next year.
