Summer Iced Tea

by Shannon on June 10, 2010

There has been a bit of a hold up to my blogging, but I am back now with a brand new computer and a whole host of teas and accessories to talk about. Today is my daughter's last day of school and with that summer is officially here.

Which means it is time for some iced tea. Iced Tea every day, all day long. Okay maybe not quite that extreme, but you get the idea. Here are some loose teas that make for a fabulous pitcher of iced tea.

I like to make iced herbal tea from herbs in my own garden. My favorites are spearmint, apple mint, and lemon balm, and I’ve recently been adding more bergamot (Monarda sp.) and orange mint (a cultivar of peppermint that is almost more basil-like than mint-like).

Oh yum Alex, that is very inspirational. I need to get some herbs going in my backyard!
